Since 2015, our Mission has been to foster resilience strategies that address adversity in our community by providing access to resources and promoting communication.

This mission statement is still at the heart of what the LC Valley Resilience Coalition does. As a Coalition, we understand that the "resilience strategies" we hope to foster is the work that you, our Coalition members, are already doing in our communities. So, we want to support your work by "providing access to resources and promoting communication." We also want to help educate community members on trauma related issues and how to get the help they need.

The most important thing we bring to our communities as a Coalition is relationship. It's our relationships with each other that create a reliable network of support for community members in need. It's genuine relationships with individuals and families that will break the generational cycle of ACEs and the stigmas around trauma.

Relationship is the key to Resilience.

The LC Valley Resilience Coalition...

• Maintains an online Coalition Directory where community members can find and connect to the immediate help they need and where Coalition members can collaborate and support one another.
  
• Develops Educational materials and resources on ACEs and Resilience and makes them available through online articles, interviews, newsletters, and other mediums as applicable.
  
• Hosts Quarterly Coalition Gatherings to bring our members together for collaboration, learning, and connection.
  
• Provides for certified, trauma-informed Training, both virtually and in-person.
  
• Convenes an Annual Resilience Conference in the LC Valley.
